Hydraulic breaker referred to as “crushing hammer” or “crusher”, the power source of the hydraulic breaker is the excavator, loader or pump station to provide the pressure, which is an important operating tool of the hydraulic excavator, play the role of impact, hammering, crushing the role of the stone, can effectively improve work efficiency, is widely used in mining, metallurgy, transportation, railways, tunnels and other industries. 1.The working principle of hydraulic crushing hammer.

Hydraulic breaker hammer is mainly composed of upper cylinder, lower cylinder, middle cylinder, piston, inner guiding sleeve, outer guiding sleeve, valve assembly, cleat assembly, cleat bolts, through bolts, washers, flat pins and so on. Its working process can be divided into four stages, which are the return acceleration stage, the return braking movement, the stroke acceleration movement, and the piston striking stopping state. The whole process mainly relies on the hydraulic oil inlet kinetic energy and the upper accumulator kinetic energy to push the cylinder rod upward compression of the nitrogen chamber, pushed to the highest point after the reversing valve to switch the direction of the hydraulic oil inlet kinetic energy and nitrogen compression kinetic energy to push the cylinder rod downward quickly knocking the brazing rod to complete the crushing work.


2. Precautions for the use of hydraulic breakers.

Hydraulic breaker in the use of the process also need to follow certain rules, the correct use will effectively extend the service life of the instrument, improve work efficiency, all, the following points must be noted.

(1) Do not use the hydraulic breaker as an ordinary hammer, do not smash the hydraulic breaker from a high place to the stone or other objects. Doing so will cause damage to the hydraulic breakerand upper mechanical structural parts.

(2) When crushing ore, be careful to avoid operating in the limit position and do not fully extend the big arm or two-arm cylinder. Keep the clearance between the end of the cylinder rod and the cylinder earring not less than 100 mm, and avoid exceeding the limit working range so as not to damage the cylinder.

(3) Do not use the crusher to lift heavy objects. Excessive front-end loading may cause deformation of the cylinder and cracks in the ground bolts, thereby increasing the risk of a tipping accident.

(4) Never shake the hydraulic breaker hammer at the same time during crushing operations. Doing so may cause problems such as braze rod breakage and cylinder rupture.

(5) crushing operations before the engine should be warmed up for ten minutes, especially in winter, which will help the operation smoothly; crushing before the visual inspection of the oil pipe leakage, oil leakage should be dealt with in a timely manner, check the crushing hammer oil seals leakage, leakage should be replaced in a timely manner oil seals, otherwise dust will enter the piston to wear the piston.


Hydraulic breaker in use due to the environment, operation, components and other factors, there will be a variety of failures, such as poor impact continuity, impact force drop, impact frequency is not enough, abnormal oil pipe vibration, hydraulic breaker oil leakage and other failures, which will lead to a decline in the performance and efficiency of the hydraulic breakerto increase the crushing operation of the safety hazards.
