1. Commissioning preparation
① Add lubricating oil to the fuel injection pump and governor.
② Remove the smoke limiter at the front of the pump, install the rack and pinion travel gauge, and the rack and pinion travel on the “0” point.
③ Attach the fuel injection pump to the test bench and connect the transmission head of the test bench to the camshaft of the fuel injection pump.
④ Connect the oil pipeline so that the test bench can supply oil to the fuel injection pump, and connect the high-pressure oil pipeline to the injector of the test bench to measure the oil.
⑤ Open the inspection window on the side of the fuel injection pump.
⑥ Calculate the selected number of times the fuel is supplied under each test condition according to the fuel injection pump supply volume adjustment parameters, and calculate the fuel supply volume and the maximum difference between the permissible fuel supply volumes for each cylinder.
2. Adjustment of fuel injection timing
Fuel injection pump oil supply time commonly used debugging methods, oil spill calibration method, timing tube method and contact pressure method, etc., now only the oil spill detection method for an introduction.
The use of oil spill calibration method debugging fuel injection pump fuel supply time, first of all, the oil conversion valve control lever to connect the position of high-pressure oil, loosen the bleeder screw on the injector, open the motor, so that the diesel fuel from the injector back to the oil pipe continuous outflow. Then push the oil supply lever to the full load position, and slowly rotate the dial along the direction of camshaft rotation, which is the moment when the first cylinder starts to supply oil. Then check whether the engraved line on the coupling and the engraved line on the bearing cover in front of the fuel injection pump are correct, such as more than the engraved line on the bearing cover, indicating that the oil supply is too late, and should be unscrewed outwardly out of the tappet adjusting screw; on the contrary, the screw should be screwed inwardly.
After the first cylinder injection timing is adjusted, then take the first cylinder as the reference, according to the fuel injection pump fuel supply sequence, adjust the fuel supply interval angle of each cylinder in turn, so that the error of the fuel supply interval angle of each cylinder is not more than ± 0.5 °.
3. Check and adjustment of oil supply volume and unevenness of oil supply
① Detection of oil supply volume. At a certain speed, detect the oil supply quantity of each plunger per 100 or 200 sprays at different stroke positions of the oil volume control lever. Generally at 200r/min and 600r/min, detect the oil quantity of the oil volume control lever at the maximum stroke, 50% stroke and at idle in three cases. In the oil volume control lever under the maximum stroke, detection of various different speeds when the plunger every oil pressure 100 times or 200 times the amount of oil, there are provisions for 400 times the amount of oil, the general inspection of the rated speed is often used 200r/min, 600r/min and 1000r/min.
② In the engine directly test the amount of oil supply. Detection, first of all the injectors are removed from the engine, turn the nozzle to the outside of the engine, and then tighten the high-pressure oil pipe, the oil volume control lever on the maximum position of the oil supply, and then rotate the crankshaft. When the oil mist from each injector is mixed with air bubbles, then put a glass container with a scale under each injector nozzle. Turn the crankshaft at 150~200r/min, and after a certain speed (e.g. 100r/min), check the amount of oil in each measuring cup and the unevenness of its oil supply.
③ Detection of unevenness of oil supply. Multi-cylinder diesel engine cylinder oil supply should try to obtain the same, but because of the single pump parts wear is not likely to be the same, so it is difficult to be consistent. Therefore, will make the cylinder working pressure is different, and make the engine power reduction, uneven operation. The smaller the unevenness of its oil supply control, the better. The difference between the unevenness of oil supply of each cylinder, the difference between the maximum oil supply at high speed is not more than 3%, the difference between the oil supply at medium speed is not more than 5%, the difference between the oil supply at low speed is not more than 7%, and the difference between the average oil supply of each sub-pump is not more than 5%. The test should be carried out 3 times, if the unevenness of oil supply exceeds the regulation for 3 times, adjustment should be made.
4. Adjustment of smoke limiter
Adjustment of the smoke limiter is usually made at the back of all adjustments because it requires removal of the rack travel gauge before this adjustment can be made. Adjustment can be made as follows:
① Remove the rack travel gauge, install the shims and screws on the end of the fuel control rack and lock them in place, and install the smoke limiter.
② Place the load control lever against the full load limit screw.
③ Make the distance between the front contact of the smoke limiter and the screw on the end of the injection volume control rack 0.1~0.2mm. you can turn the smoke limiter in until it contacts the screw on the end of the rack, and then turn it back 30°.
④ Lock the nut, tighten the sheath and seal it.
