1. Injector working condition inspection method

(1) Preliminary appearance check

Leakage check: start the engine and observe whether there is fuel leakage at the connection between the injector and the fuel pipe, if there is obvious oil stains, it is necessary to replace the sealing gasket or tighten the bolt.

Temperature comparison: after idling for 10 minutes, touch the surface temperature of the injector of each cylinder by hand, and the injector with obviously low temperature may be blocked or stuck.

(2) Injector pressure test

Use the special injector test bench for testing:

Connect the injector to the test bench and slowly pressurize it to the standard opening pressure (usually 220-250 bar for Deutz BF4M1013 model). Observe whether the pressure gauge reading is stable. If the pressure fluctuates greatly or fails to reach the standard value, it means that the spring inside the injector is fatigued or the seal is bad.

(3) Observation of atomization effect

Remove the injector and install it on the test bench, manually pump oil at a frequency of 60-80 times per minute: the normal atomization should show a uniform cone of oil mist, no oil splash. If there is a line of oil spray, uneven atomization or oil dripping phenomenon, indicating that the needle valve wear or clogging of the spray hole.

(4) Oil return detection

Installation of flow meters to measure the injector oil return, the normal value should be less than 10 mL/min. If the oil return exceeds the standard, it may be the needle valve and the valve body with too large a gap.

(5) Cylinder working condition analysis

Judgment through the broken cylinder method: sequentially disconnect the cylinder injector circuit, if no significant change in engine speed after disconnecting a cylinder, the cylinder injector may be faulty.

2. Troubleshooting measures

When Deutz engine repair fails, it needs to be repaired in time, the following are some Deutz engine repair methods.

(1) Damaged seals: Replace O-rings, copper gaskets and other seals, and use a torque wrench to tighten them according to the standard torque when installing them.

(2) blocked injection holes: the use of ultrasonic cleaning machine with special cleaning agent to remove carbon deposits, is strictly prohibited with wire hard objects to avoid damage to the injection holes.

(3) Spring failure or needle valve jamming: replace the injector assembly or contact a professional manufacturer to repair, pay attention to Deutz injectors need to be calibrated in groups.

(4) Circuit failure (electronically controlled models): Measure the resistance of the solenoid valve and check whether the wiring harness plug is oxidized.
